Hello everybody! I am very exited about being able to use real cool laptops at school! I'm trying not to loose the privilege of doing it. I think it is cool to type on the wolfhounds website. I bet my mom and dad didn't get to do this in their 4th grade class.
I think we should have recess be before lunch because you don't get as many cramps when you are running, you don't feel rushed at lunch, and that it means lunch can be longer. It sounds like a great idea!!!

Zoo
The extreamley crazy and horrible office of creatures known as the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo was the crazyest place on earth according to Skipper. his real name was Ronald L. Linhurst Jr. but everyone called him Skipper. Skipper Linhurst. he had a younger brother named Roy and and an older sister Michelle and they both drove him crazy. Roy was always saying Fictional things to get attention, but Michelle was always wanting a new skirt or blouse and atleast ten shopping trips a week is not what Skipper wanted. He wanted to be the oldest the biggest the strongest and best of all the boss. But he was just the thirteen year old guy stuck right in the middle. so when he needed a break from his totaly cray house he went with his best friend Timmy Lorezo to the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo. Timmy was also thirteen and Skipper thought that he was the best friend a thirteen year old boy could want.
Unfortunetly this was one of these days. Roy was telling a story about a bear that ate a lizard and Michelle was bugging Mrs. Lorezo about how she absolutley needed purple star earrings so she could go to her friend Natilie's birthday party it was a dance birthday party and the Linhurst family was every day getting more tired of hearing about it. Skipper almost ran out of his house and onto Timmy's front porch. Timmy quickly ran to his door and ''Skipper I'm Ready!" Timmy was used to going to the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo at about this time of day because at about this time of day is when Skipper's house got loud and crazy. As they walked to the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo they talked about why they thought that the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo had the name it did. ''I think it's named that because all the scientist collect these crazy animals.'' Timmy said.
This was true scientist (the people that run the E.C.A.H.O.O.C zoo) got wild and crazy animals from all around the world and studyed them. The place where they displayed them was the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo. Skipper answered " I agree." " I think they want people to know and learn about these crazy animals." As they approached the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo Timmy held his breath and said "here we go!" He was used to the fact that he might get freaked out but he did not care. He knew that it was a good break for his friend. As they walked into the entryway they were greeted by what they thought was a cross between a polar bear and a lizard. It had a polar bear body and a lizard head and it also was a mustard yellow color. ''E-W-W!'' yelled Timmy. ''O.K! O.K! we can take a different hallway. It was called The Furious Scardy Mouse. In the corner there was a giant mouse that had huge venomus fangs.
I think that the white flag is kind of worn out and sad. I think it is different than the red, white, and blue flag because the red white and blue flag looks excited and it does not. When I first looked at it I thought it looked kind of weird. But now I do not. I also think that it feels bad for the country who lost the war because America is an happy place that cares for others. The regular American flag looks like it is ready to fight ad is spunky and determind to win the war. I think that the white American flag looks like it is tired because it just fought in the war. Also because it is probably sad about all the soilders that died in the war. I also think that the other country that just fought America would like the white American flag better because the flag looks more worn out and since the other country lost the war they would be happy America is tired.

My Plant project (the Merry Crawler plant)
habitat:
I chose the Tundra habitat for my Merry Crawler plant. The tundra is covered in a layer of permafrost. The drainage in the Tundra is poor due to the permafrost, and the evaporation is slow. There is also very little precipitation. There is long days during the growing season, and long nights in the winter in the Tundra. In the Tundra there is also about twenty four houres of day light.
adaptations/size
Because I chose the tundra for my Merry Crawler plant it has to follow these adaptations:
The Merry Crawler plant is four inches tall normally. It is a brick red color, and it has tiny hairs about one centimeter tall. The Merry Crawler plant grows in large clumps that can get as long as fifty feet, and it has large dish-like flowers that are one foot long and five inches deep that follow the sun to collect solar heat. The merry Crawler plant also has very short roots. It is a herbaceous plant, and it has one or two leaves per flower they are very tiny leaves so they are not easily noticed.
life cycle:
My Merry Crawler plant is a perennial plant because it only dies every once in a while. It's life cycle is... First, germination it is when it sprouts out of the ground. Next, maturation when it grows some more. Then, reproduction when the plant produces seeds. Last, when the plant dies it disinegrates in the soil. I does not have the dormancy because in the Tundra it always has permafrost and that means that it is pretty much the same temperture there. Since it is only four inches tall the seeds drop low to the ground that is why it grows in clumps. When it grows in clumps every reproduction one end dies so it looks like the Merry Crawler plant looks like it is crawling across the Tundra. The Merry Crawler plant to get pollinated uses some of the nutrients it collects and turns it into pollen. To disperse it's seeds it has tubes in the bottom of the flower that slowly let the seeds out.

All Because of a Bump on Her Head
CHAPTER 1
It was a rainy day. Megan Stewart was sitting on her bed with her door shut, propped up by three newly washed pillows, and her butterfly blanket spread across her knees. She had her har up in a beautiful bun with her purple polkadotted bed lamp turned on. The extremely bright glow was shed onto the the pages of her new book .It was called a Wrinkle in Time.
Megan loved it's crisp white newly printed pages with jet black ink. She was now on page 21, the page right before Chapter 2 and Mrs. Whatsit had just visited the Murry house unexpectedly in the middle of the night. "I wonder if there really is a Mrs.Whatsit, and if there is mabey..."
Megan got her thoughts interupted by her Mom rapping on her door loudly with her little brother Julius screaming in the background. Julius was three years younger than her at the age of seven.
"Okay." Megan said opening the door."What do you want?"
"I want you to go help Julius clean the basement if he is even cleaning the basement instead of screaming his head off down there, as she pointed down the thirteen step staircase.
After that she yelled down the staircase to Julius "Hey, go clean the basement and yes your sister is coming to help you momentarily right Megan?"
"Yes Mom." She replied.
Megan started to walk down the stairs when suddenly she heard a vey loud and disturbing Bam! that sounded like some enemy jet of somekind had just sent a bomb from about a zillion feet into the air directly onto her head. Mabey that was exaderating a little bit, but any ways you get the idea. When Megan heard the bam she immediatly yelled "Woah!", toppled down the stars and was soon ungracefully rolling onto her head at the bottom onto the hardwood floor that had recently been installed.
"I'm home!" her Dad exclaimed stepping right in front of her face.
"Hi Dad" she accedentally hollered. Then she grumbled "uuuggggh! Getting this aweful bump on my head just because you slammed the door when you came home."
CHAPTER 2
"I am soooo sorry honey, now lets get an icepack on that beautiful bumpy head of yours." Her Dad said as he was carring her into the kitchen.
"What was I thinking, the kitchen is no place for that beautiful bumpy head of yours isn't it Meg."He added in a voice that made him sound like he was talking to a baby that couldn't even understand what he was saying.
In her head Megan was silently laughing to herself thinking "My Dad sure does have a good sense of humor, does he not?" but Megan's head hurt too much for her to laugh out loud, so she just answered "Yeh dad!" trying to sound like this was a happy situation she was in as her Dad plopped her onto their light fluffy sofa.
By then Julius was screaming his head off again and yelling "Mom, Mom, Mom!" over and over again. "Sissy hurt her head 'cause Dad said so!"
Megan's Mom had just finished up fixing the washer and was very much relived that there was something else going on so she didn't feel like she should be cooped up in the basement all day. But instead of sounding excited about it she grumbled "Oh great, another trip to the emergency room."
I really hope that you as a reader understand that she was being very sarcastic about the whole great part. Upstairs Julius was standing over Megan like she was an adorable little baby monkey as her father often called her. Megan's Dad had just gotten her an ice pack and by the time her mother finished walking up the stairs Megan was holding the ridiculously freezing ice pack on her head where the bump was. As her Mom examined her head closely she said in a not very exiting sounding voice
"I'm afraid I was right about the whole emergency room thing."
Her Dad quickly answered "What emergency room trip, I thought we already took her there once for her pnumia case."
Now Julius was crying "Not that place again, no, no, no Mommy."
"Yes honey, that place again, and by the way it is called the emergency room." Megan's Mom replied as Megan took the ice pack off her head.
CHAPTER 3
Julius had stopped crying now and the Stewart family had just pulled into the hospital parking lot. As they stepped into the door they realised that luckily there were was nobody else there besides the doctors and the nurses so they were the first people to be helped. Inside the emergency room were big rows of comfy chairs lined up towards several examining rooms. there were hard wood floors and a check in desk in the front left corner beside the mural of the six turquoise blue monkeys hanging from trees ripe with bananas. They checked in and Julius commented on how "It smells in here" Dr. Peterson greeted them with a familiar smile that made his sea green eyes shine. Once they got into the examining room in the back of the emergency room and Dr. Peterson examined the bump closely he said
"Everything is alright, but before you leave I would like to talk to Megan privatly."
Megan's parents exited the room without noticing that Julius had just vanished.
Dr. Peterson shut and locked the door behind them and Megan nearly shouted "What did you do to Julius?"
"Now, now" Dr. Peterson very calmly answered "I sent your brother on a little trip to a different planet, and hypnotised your parents into thinking that you didn't exist. After all I am a wizard."
"You're a WHAT!?" Megan asked screaming.
"I said" Dr. Peterson growled. "I'm a WISARD!"
"THERE'S A WIZARD IN HERE, A HORRIBLE EVIL WISARD IN HERE, HELP NURSES HELP ME!!!!! Megan shouted.
She shouted so loud that the doctor's bed shook and almost fell over,but the wizard specifically Dr. Peterson didn't even cover his ears.
"I didn't hear you, and by the way I am NOT an evil wizard infact I could of just saved your life!"
"Oh yes, yes, yes, you did hear." Megan said, "and by the way how could you save my life, hypnotise my parents, and vanish my brother at the same time? They DON'T go together sir!"
Suprisingly the nurses outside of the room didn't react in any way.
"Why is nobody wondering what is going on in here?" Megan asked the wizard.
"Well" the wizard replied. "Any one outside of this room sees a red light which in the hospital means DO NOT DARE ENTER. As to the answer of your first question, it is so that you are in danger..."
"Why, why, why am I in danger tell me NOW wizard!" Megan suprisingly demanded.
"Okay honey please calm down and I will tell you." the wizard said.
"Great" Megan muttered under her breath, "Just great."
"Now, you are so intellegent or shall I say you have a very intellegent mind that there are a few monsters out to get you. Your parents knew about this all along. However" The wizard calmly explained taking a series if deep breaths in the process. "Worrying about such things or shall I explain it to you as this meaning what I am telling you attracts the monsters for they have very sensitive sences and several more than we do." Now Megan was getting very interested and decided to interrupt no longer. "Another thing that attracts monsters." The wizard said. "Is being closely related to an intellegent person such as your brother
Julius, so now." The wizard continued "I will send you to planet Zahoolagan where you will find Julius waiting for you when you arrve. It is the only safe planet to be on because if monsters get into it or even anywhere near it their most powerful sences will be blocked. Now hold my hand." Megan felt obliged to obey so she did.
CHAPTER 4
Zap! Megan soon found herself on what she assumed was planet Zahoolagan. Sure enough it was, for when she attempted to take a step foward she noticed a sign that clearly stated WELCOME TO PLANET ZAHOOLAGAN! Megan thought that this planet was pretty much a straight copy of planet Earth but soon enough she found out that it was not for the lack of gravity the Zahoolagans recived each day. There was nobody else on this planet apparently but she and Julius. Megan was grateful for the no gravity part of the planet because that is how she found Julius by flying around or shall I state it as floating around a bright shiny park bench. Of course then how could she of even found him without floating herself.
When Megan finally positioned herself beside him she filled him in on every little tiny importent detail that the wizard told her, and to that she explained the whole wizard part of it too.
"Whoa sissy!" Julius exclaimed sounding ridiculusly suprised. "All that!? I had no clue."
Megan said after a long period of silence between the two children. "I think that this planet Zahoolagan whatever that means is pretty akward and dear Julius please tell me that you agree.
"Yes I do agree Meggy." Julius answered. "I think it is queer how there are so beautiful scenes such as what we are gliding around now this beautiful park bench, but from what you told me there is no life on this planet besides us of course that could of made or built them.
Megan added to that "Do you think Julius and please be honest that people but very intellegent people could of lived here and created all this but of been blown out by the monsters not very long ago, since this appears to be very new?"
"Very possible." Julius replied.
Suddenly they heard a deep and obnoxious growl and as they whipped around starteled they saw what it was also. They both thought the same thing which was a very sarcastic "Oh great, our first monster sighting."
CHAPTER 5
As they approached the monster the growl became more obnoxious than it was at first. How I would describe it is that it was about twelve feet tall with red eyes that seemed to bulge out of the monster's head. The monster had thick fur that was so ugly they were speechless.
Megan pulled Juilus over to the side and managed to make out the words in a whisper voice, "As I told you, the wizard said that the monsters disliked very intelligent people so I think that the monsters must be very stupid themselves. This might be easier to fight than I thought it would."
"Yeh!" Julius agreed.
Suddenly Megan said "Julius what is the abreviation for Hydrogen in the periodic table of elements?"
Julius answered "H is for Hydrogen."
"Good "Megan said. "Now what is 45 divided by 9?"
"5" Julius said.
"Now Meggy dear what is 100+227?"
"Julius" Megan answered. "100+227=327!"
Suddenly they heard a terrifying screech, then poof! the monster exploded
"It worked!" Megan gasped.
"Wow!" Julius replied. "Now all we have to do is the same thing for all the other monsters that we meet."
"Correct!" Megan exclaimed. Then she added "Now all we have to do is get some food for I am very hungary there must be a supermarket somewhere around here don't you think Julius?"
Julius quckly answered a very enthusiastic "Definatly sis! I am sooo hungary!"
They floated around a street sign and plopped themselves luckily right in front of a little supermarket.
CHAPTER 6
Megan carefully opened the doors of the electric blue supermarket.
"Wow!" Julius said as they walked in to the shop. "They have a little bit of everything here don't they Megan, or they used to" he added realising the empty shelves in the light bulb section of the store.
"Yes" Megan replied "and lets go get some carrots, they should be in the back..."
They were interuppted by the same deep and obnoxious growl that they had heard from the first monster. Indeed it was one of the monsters.
Julius imediatlly jumped into the rutien by saying "Hey Megan what is the abbreviation for Hydrogen in the periodic table of elements?"
Megan replied by saying "H is for Hydrogen."
"Good!" Julius said. "Now what is 45 divided by 9?"
"5" Megan said.
They heard the same terifying screech and the sameexplosive poof! ans the monster was gone!
"Hooray!" Julius shouted exitedly. "This is getting easier every monster do you agree Megan?"
"Yes!" Megan answered.
The two children marched off in mid air of course towards the back of the store where the carrots were. They got carrots and didn't have to check out so after that they were floating out the door.
CHAPTER 7
"At last." Megan sighed. "Now we only have two more monsters to go."
"Right!" Julius said very exitedly because he was exited.
They walked well floated over to the same park bench then Julius said "Hey sis! You think we ought to go to the court house and get a rough estimate of how many Zahoolagans there are supposed to be, there shouldn't be to many!?"
Megan replied " That sounds pretty good to me Julius how about taking a trip to the bank for some spare change also, we don't have any unless you secretly carry some around with you in your pockets which today you have none."
"Megan." Julius said. "That is a brilliant idea, not that we would need any here but possibly if there is an emergency!"
"Then thats that." Megan answered "We'll go to the courthouse and on our way back here stop by the bank to get the spare change I was talking about."
The children went to the courthouse and found out that there was roughly 20 people that lived on planet Zahoolagan before they arrived and that also ment that there was plenty of money in the bank too. However when they got to the bank they met the third monster they had been waiting for. They heard the same obnoxious growl that got more obnoxious and Megan said "Julius what is 100+227?"
Julius answered "Megan 100+227=327."
There was that same terrifying screech and the monster exploded.
Megan and Julius collected about $10.00 from the bank and decided that it had to be enough for the two of them.
"$5.00 each." Megan commented.
Soon they were back to gliding around the park bench.
CHAPTER 8
Megan said to Julius "Do you think that we could have a race today Julius?"
"What?" Julius asked. "How could we have a normal race on a planet that does not have gravity on it?"
"Julius." Megan said. "I never said a normal race I'm talking about a floating race."
"Oh!" answered Julius. "I guess this is one of your very intellegent ideas Meggy."
"You are correct Julius!" Megan tried to sound like an anouncer on the 6:00 nightly news reporting about a car accident on interstate 270 when it was raining outside.
"Okay." Julius said "I give up when do we start!?"
"Right now!" Megan replied "1, 2, 3, go!"
They raced all the way to a big hicory tree about 40 ft. off the ground.
"Whew!" Julius gasped "I had no clue this would be so tough."
Megan added "I know, mabey we shouldn't try to race again."
Julius replied by saying "Sounds good to me."
Suddenly they heard a deep more obnoxious growl which they knew that it was the last monster that they had to blow up.
"Hey!" Julius said to the monster. "What's your name?"
There was the sound of the monster exploding.
Then the sound of two children shouting "Horray, horray no more monsters!"
After they settled down Megan said "Julius, it's getting dark lets leep in the shelter house over to the far right."
Julius answered "Fine! I'm tired."
So the children snuggled up in the corner and fell asleep.
CHAPTER 9
The sun shone brightly into the shelter house. Julius woke Megan up at about 7:30 a.m. in the Zahoolagan time which was about 9:30 a.m. where we live.
Megan woke up quickly ate some of the carrots they got with Julius then said "Hey Julius don't you think that we should rescue the Zahoolagans from where they are living now?"
"Saturn's rings sounds like where we should find them." Julius replied.
"Reasonable." Megan said. "Lets go there now."
Since they didn't travel too far to get as far as the shelter house it wasn't a long floating period to get back to the banner. Saturn was only about 200 ft. from the edge of planet Zahoolagan so a floating speed they didn't have to hold their breath long. When they finally arrived on the first of Saturns rings they found a jolly old man sitting down on the edge of it.
He said "I'm glad you came to rescue us the others are about 10 ft. away from here."
"Wow!" Megan exclaimed "This is great and I see the others too!"
Juliuis added another "Wow!" to that also.
When the other Zahoolagans noticed them Megan explained their situation and why they had come there.
The people nodded their heads and explained how Saturn was indeed a pretty plain yellowish gold planet with nothing to do on it that was enjoyable.
Julius pionted to planet Zahoolagan and guestured for them to follow him back.
"Just like it was when we left one of them mumbled, this is great." This great was not the sarcastic kind of them either.
"Well we must get going to our home planet." Megan said. Then she added "Sorry we have to leave this great place."
"Indeed." The old man that they had first met said. "What a shame."
After Megan and Julius had said their goodbyes and eccepted their thank yous they hand in hand floated off into space.
My Story
CHAPTER 1
Screeeeech! Susan Thompson heard the bus tires. It was Tursday morning, 9:15 a.m. to be exact, and she was anxious to get to school. It was the day of the elder's art fair and Susan's art teacher Miss Margret was going to present and discuss many famous paintings done by many famous artists. After boarding the bus Megan immediatly plopped herself down next to her best friend Polly in seat five.
"I am sooooo exited about today's elder's art fair aren't you Susan?!" Polly said.
"and I bet that Mrs. Kerr is going to make sure that the whole class is "On time" to the event also."
Mrs Kerr was Polly and Susan's rather strict teacher and the most paticular teacher in the fourth grade. Now that you know that Susan and Polly are both in the fourth grade, and the same class I might as well tell you that they are also both ten and an only child.
"Yes " susan answered. "I agree."
When they arrived at school Susan and Polly put away their things and walked to the gym where the art fair would start. They were very silent the whole way down the stairs.
After a long wait Miss Margret finnaly anonced "The first painting I will talk about is called Mona Lisa. It is painted by Leonardo da Vinci and..."
There was an EEEEEKKKK! of the PA system turning on. Sally's principal announced "due to the blizzard that is happening now school will be getting out in a half hour. I hope this doesn't alarm you, but you need to go to your home room immidiatly because the busses are trying to be earlyer than I suspected due to the traffic and the rush. Thank you."
Polly said "wow!"
Polly nad susan again sat beside each other in seat five on their way home and speechlessley walked into their home when they arrived there because of the dissipointing postponement of the great elder's art fair.
CHAPTER 2
"Oh my goodness honey!" Susan's mother exclaimed as Susan entered the house. Susan's mother usually didn't act like this so susan wondered what was going on.
Susan replied by saying "Hey Mom! Because of the snow the school got let out early, and the Elder's art fair was probably postponed too." Then she added "Why are you so suprised, you usually don't act like this."
Megan's Mother answered as she stuffed a letter she was writing into her home office desk "Oh nothing."
"okay" replied Susan still unsure about the whole deal.
As susan walked into her room with the purple flowerie wall paper she wondered "I wonder who lives on the Mansion across the street? I think I will want to check that out today."
Susan walked down the stairs and back to her mother's office.
"Mom" she asked "Will you let me go see the person that lives in the mansion across the street I wonder who lives there?"
"sure." her mom replied. "but you wouln't find any people there."
"How am I supposed to get in there if there is nobody to open the door for me?" susan asked he mother who was now looking as if she were in deep thought.
"well" Susan's mom answered "If I recall you just knock three times on the front door and say Thompson."
As susan walked out the front door and crossed the street she thought "I wonder why Mom knows so much about the mansion, but I might as well listen to her since she seems to be very confident about it."
Susan was now standing on the front porch of the beautiful mansion. There were two marble pillars on either side of her. she could barely make out the words "wow!" Because she did not see anything like this on in the mansion before.
Susan knocked three times in the door then she said "Thompson."
CHAPTER 3
Eeeeeek! The front door of the mansion opened.
"Oh this is amazing!" Susan gasped.
She was standing in a giant walkway on a beautiful marble checkered floor with beautiful paintings surrounding her. It seemed very akward to her that there was only one huge room in the whole mansion. Each painting's gold frame had a red ruby on it.
"since nobody seems to live here," Susan thought. "I don't think it would be a problem to touch it. I'm talking about the painting of Mona Lisa."
So that is what Susan did. She touched the beautiful ruby.
Suddenly there was a very loud screeeeech! Susan found herself in a what she assumed was an art studio, but a very old one. She also saw who she reconised to be Leonardo da Vinci. He was half done with the painting of Mona Liza.
"What on earth!" Megan said.
Leonardo was so startled that he acccedentally splatted paint on the picture and made Mona Lisa's eye orange.
"hello!" He said "and who are you?"
"uh uh I'm Susan." Susan stammered.
"how did you get here?" Leonardo asked ."And by the way you can call me Leo."
"I touched a ruby on your painting of Mona Lisa and found myself here." Susan replied.
Leo asked Susan "and where were you when touched this ruby?"
Susan replied by saying "Leo, why do you have to ask so many questions?"
"Because I want to know the answers, you didn't answer my question though."
"Okay" susan said "you win." "I went to the mansion across the street from my house to see what was in there. To get in I knocked three times then said Thompson. As soon as I saw the picture and touched the ruby on the frame I came here."
"Ahhhhhh." Leo replied "The magical work of Edward Thompson."
Susan said. "Edward Thompson, who is he?"
"Well susan." Leo said."I believe that Edward Thompson was your geat-great-great grandfather, and a famous inventor that along with his inventions he used a touch of magic too."
"Wow!" susan replied now more comfortable "you knew him?"
Leo said "Yep! he was my best friend, so much that I couldn't say no when he offered to preserve me in a painting of my own Mona Lisa."
"If he was your best friend, arn't you supposed to be dead?" Susan questioned.
"did you here the preserve part of what I told you? anyways you cant exactly die when you're in a painting." Leo answered

ABOUT THE PALEO INDIANS
The Paleo Indians arrived in Ohio in about 13,000 BC. Paleo Indians got their name from the word paleo that means "old" in greek. Paleo Indians are also called The First Ohioans. Their tools included scrapers and projectile pionts that were made my a method they used called flaking. The Paleo Indian's tools were called stone tools because they were mostly made of stone.
PALEO INDIAN CULTURE
The Paleo Indian's culture was called the Clovis Culture or the Llano culture. Projectile points are also called Clovis points because of the history and culture. The Clovis culture officially started in 11,500 RCYBP (radiocarbon years before present) at the end of the last glacial period. All Paleo Indians were part of the Clovis Culture because it was their tradition.
PALEO INDIAN HOMES
The Paleo Indians did not have permenant homes since they traveled so much for their food. The very temporary homes that they did have were mostly pits that were probably originally storage areas. This made them east to locate.
THE PALEO INDIAN'S DAILY LIFE
People don't know much about Paleo Indian's daily life but they do know that they usually worked by the rivers andfollowed the animals to determine where they lived. they worked very hard so there was very little time for play at the village. Very few sites or proof of where the paleo indians lived has been found so far.
WHERE THE PALEO INDIANS LIVED
The Paleo Indians lived wherever the greater population of animals were or wherever the most food was avalible. This forced them to live in many places. According to us they lived "way out there" which is also known as the forest.
THE FOOD THE PALEO INDIANS ATE
The Paleo Indians ate dried foods in the winter. They also ate seasonly avalible food such as fruits, seeds, and nuts. They fished and hunted Mastadon, White tailed deer, and other small animals too.
WHEN THE PALEO INDIANS LEFT OHIO
The Paleo Indians left ohio somewhere around 7,900 BC and 8,000 BC. This was also when the last glacier passed through Ohio. However there is a debate of the actual year they left.

Hello everybody! I am very exited about being able to use real cool laptops at school! I'm trying not to loose the privilege of doing it. I think it is cool to type on the wolfhounds website. I bet my mom and dad didn't get to do this in their 4th grade class.
I think we should have recess be before lunch because you don't get as many cramps when you are running, you don't feel rushed at lunch, and that it means lunch can be longer. It sounds like a great idea!!!

Zoo
The extreamley crazy and horrible office of creatures known as the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo was the crazyest place on earth according to Skipper. his real name was Ronald L. Linhurst Jr. but everyone called him Skipper. Skipper Linhurst. he had a younger brother named Roy and and an older sister Michelle and they both drove him crazy. Roy was always saying Fictional things to get attention, but Michelle was always wanting a new skirt or blouse and atleast ten shopping trips a week is not what Skipper wanted. He wanted to be the oldest the biggest the strongest and best of all the boss. But he was just the thirteen year old guy stuck right in the middle. so when he needed a break from his totaly cray house he went with his best friend Timmy Lorezo to the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo. Timmy was also thirteen and Skipper thought that he was the best friend a thirteen year old boy could want.Unfortunetly this was one of these days. Roy was telling a story about a bear that ate a lizard and Michelle was bugging Mrs. Lorezo about how she absolutley needed purple star earrings so she could go to her friend Natilie's birthday party it was a dance birthday party and the Linhurst family was every day getting more tired of hearing about it. Skipper almost ran out of his house and onto Timmy's front porch. Timmy quickly ran to his door and ''Skipper I'm Ready!" Timmy was used to going to the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo at about this time of day because at about this time of day is when Skipper's house got loud and crazy. As they walked to the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo they talked about why they thought that the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo had the name it did. ''I think it's named that because all the scientist collect these crazy animals.'' Timmy said.
This was true scientist (the people that run the E.C.A.H.O.O.C zoo) got wild and crazy animals from all around the world and studyed them. The place where they displayed them was the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo. Skipper answered " I agree." " I think they want people to know and learn about these crazy animals." As they approached the E.C.A.H.O.O.C. zoo Timmy held his breath and said "here we go!" He was used to the fact that he might get freaked out but he did not care. He knew that it was a good break for his friend. As they walked into the entryway they were greeted by what they thought was a cross between a polar bear and a lizard. It had a polar bear body and a lizard head and it also was a mustard yellow color. ''E-W-W!'' yelled Timmy. ''O.K! O.K! we can take a different hallway. It was called The Furious Scardy Mouse. In the corner there was a giant mouse that had huge venomus fangs.
I think that the white flag is kind of worn out and sad. I think it is different than the red, white, and blue flag because the red white and blue flag looks excited and it does not. When I first looked at it I thought it looked kind of weird. But now I do not. I also think that it feels bad for the country who lost the war because America is an happy place that cares for others. The regular American flag looks like it is ready to fight ad is spunky and determind to win the war. I think that the white American flag looks like it is tired because it just fought in the war. Also because it is probably sad about all the soilders that died in the war. I also think that the other country that just fought America would like the white American flag better because the flag looks more worn out and since the other country lost the war they would be happy America is tired.

My Plant project (the Merry Crawler plant)
habitat:
I chose the Tundra habitat for my Merry Crawler plant. The tundra is covered in a layer of permafrost. The drainage in the Tundra is poor due to the permafrost, and the evaporation is slow. There is also very little precipitation. There is long days during the growing season, and long nights in the winter in the Tundra. In the Tundra there is also about twenty four houres of day light.adaptations/size
Because I chose the tundra for my Merry Crawler plant it has to follow these adaptations:The Merry Crawler plant is four inches tall normally. It is a brick red color, and it has tiny hairs about one centimeter tall. The Merry Crawler plant grows in large clumps that can get as long as fifty feet, and it has large dish-like flowers that are one foot long and five inches deep that follow the sun to collect solar heat. The merry Crawler plant also has very short roots. It is a herbaceous plant, and it has one or two leaves per flower they are very tiny leaves so they are not easily noticed.
life cycle:
My Merry Crawler plant is a perennial plant because it only dies every once in a while. It's life cycle is... First, germination it is when it sprouts out of the ground. Next, maturation when it grows some more. Then, reproduction when the plant produces seeds. Last, when the plant dies it disinegrates in the soil. I does not have the dormancy because in the Tundra it always has permafrost and that means that it is pretty much the same temperture there. Since it is only four inches tall the seeds drop low to the ground that is why it grows in clumps. When it grows in clumps every reproduction one end dies so it looks like the Merry Crawler plant looks like it is crawling across the Tundra. The Merry Crawler plant to get pollinated uses some of the nutrients it collects and turns it into pollen. To disperse it's seeds it has tubes in the bottom of the flower that slowly let the seeds out.

All Because of a Bump on Her Head
CHAPTER 1It was a rainy day. Megan Stewart was sitting on her bed with her door shut, propped up by three newly washed pillows, and her butterfly blanket spread across her knees. She had her har up in a beautiful bun with her purple polkadotted bed lamp turned on. The extremely bright glow was shed onto the the pages of her new book .It was called a Wrinkle in Time.
Megan loved it's crisp white newly printed pages with jet black ink. She was now on page 21, the page right before Chapter 2 and Mrs. Whatsit had just visited the Murry house unexpectedly in the middle of the night. "I wonder if there really is a Mrs.Whatsit, and if there is mabey..."
Megan got her thoughts interupted by her Mom rapping on her door loudly with her little brother Julius screaming in the background. Julius was three years younger than her at the age of seven.
"Okay." Megan said opening the door."What do you want?"
"I want you to go help Julius clean the basement if he is even cleaning the basement instead of screaming his head off down there, as she pointed down the thirteen step staircase.
After that she yelled down the staircase to Julius "Hey, go clean the basement and yes your sister is coming to help you momentarily right Megan?"
"Yes Mom." She replied.
Megan started to walk down the stairs when suddenly she heard a vey loud and disturbing Bam! that sounded like some enemy jet of somekind had just sent a bomb from about a zillion feet into the air directly onto her head. Mabey that was exaderating a little bit, but any ways you get the idea. When Megan heard the bam she immediatly yelled "Woah!", toppled down the stars and was soon ungracefully rolling onto her head at the bottom onto the hardwood floor that had recently been installed.
"I'm home!" her Dad exclaimed stepping right in front of her face.
"Hi Dad" she accedentally hollered. Then she grumbled "uuuggggh! Getting this aweful bump on my head just because you slammed the door when you came home."
CHAPTER 2
"I am soooo sorry honey, now lets get an icepack on that beautiful bumpy head of yours." Her Dad said as he was carring her into the kitchen.
"What was I thinking, the kitchen is no place for that beautiful bumpy head of yours isn't it Meg."He added in a voice that made him sound like he was talking to a baby that couldn't even understand what he was saying.
In her head Megan was silently laughing to herself thinking "My Dad sure does have a good sense of humor, does he not?" but Megan's head hurt too much for her to laugh out loud, so she just answered "Yeh dad!" trying to sound like this was a happy situation she was in as her Dad plopped her onto their light fluffy sofa.
By then Julius was screaming his head off again and yelling "Mom, Mom, Mom!" over and over again. "Sissy hurt her head 'cause Dad said so!"
Megan's Mom had just finished up fixing the washer and was very much relived that there was something else going on so she didn't feel like she should be cooped up in the basement all day. But instead of sounding excited about it she grumbled "Oh great, another trip to the emergency room."
I really hope that you as a reader understand that she was being very sarcastic about the whole great part. Upstairs Julius was standing over Megan like she was an adorable little baby monkey as her father often called her. Megan's Dad had just gotten her an ice pack and by the time her mother finished walking up the stairs Megan was holding the ridiculously freezing ice pack on her head where the bump was. As her Mom examined her head closely she said in a not very exiting sounding voice
"I'm afraid I was right about the whole emergency room thing."
Her Dad quickly answered "What emergency room trip, I thought we already took her there once for her pnumia case."
Now Julius was crying "Not that place again, no, no, no Mommy."
"Yes honey, that place again, and by the way it is called the emergency room." Megan's Mom replied as Megan took the ice pack off her head.
CHAPTER 3
Julius had stopped crying now and the Stewart family had just pulled into the hospital parking lot. As they stepped into the door they realised that luckily there were was nobody else there besides the doctors and the nurses so they were the first people to be helped. Inside the emergency room were big rows of comfy chairs lined up towards several examining rooms. there were hard wood floors and a check in desk in the front left corner beside the mural of the six turquoise blue monkeys hanging from trees ripe with bananas. They checked in and Julius commented on how "It smells in here" Dr. Peterson greeted them with a familiar smile that made his sea green eyes shine. Once they got into the examining room in the back of the emergency room and Dr. Peterson examined the bump closely he said
"Everything is alright, but before you leave I would like to talk to Megan privatly."
Megan's parents exited the room without noticing that Julius had just vanished.
Dr. Peterson shut and locked the door behind them and Megan nearly shouted "What did you do to Julius?"
"Now, now" Dr. Peterson very calmly answered "I sent your brother on a little trip to a different planet, and hypnotised your parents into thinking that you didn't exist. After all I am a wizard."
"You're a WHAT!?" Megan asked screaming.
"I said" Dr. Peterson growled. "I'm a WISARD!"
"THERE'S A WIZARD IN HERE, A HORRIBLE EVIL WISARD IN HERE, HELP NURSES HELP ME!!!!! Megan shouted.
She shouted so loud that the doctor's bed shook and almost fell over,but the wizard specifically Dr. Peterson didn't even cover his ears.
"I didn't hear you, and by the way I am NOT an evil wizard infact I could of just saved your life!"
"Oh yes, yes, yes, you did hear." Megan said, "and by the way how could you save my life, hypnotise my parents, and vanish my brother at the same time? They DON'T go together sir!"
Suprisingly the nurses outside of the room didn't react in any way.
"Why is nobody wondering what is going on in here?" Megan asked the wizard.
"Well" the wizard replied. "Any one outside of this room sees a red light which in the hospital means DO NOT DARE ENTER. As to the answer of your first question, it is so that you are in danger..."
"Why, why, why am I in danger tell me NOW wizard!" Megan suprisingly demanded.
"Okay honey please calm down and I will tell you." the wizard said.
"Great" Megan muttered under her breath, "Just great."
"Now, you are so intellegent or shall I say you have a very intellegent mind that there are a few monsters out to get you. Your parents knew about this all along. However" The wizard calmly explained taking a series if deep breaths in the process. "Worrying about such things or shall I explain it to you as this meaning what I am telling you attracts the monsters for they have very sensitive sences and several more than we do." Now Megan was getting very interested and decided to interrupt no longer. "Another thing that attracts monsters." The wizard said. "Is being closely related to an intellegent person such as your brother
Julius, so now." The wizard continued "I will send you to planet Zahoolagan where you will find Julius waiting for you when you arrve. It is the only safe planet to be on because if monsters get into it or even anywhere near it their most powerful sences will be blocked. Now hold my hand." Megan felt obliged to obey so she did.
CHAPTER 4
Zap! Megan soon found herself on what she assumed was planet Zahoolagan. Sure enough it was, for when she attempted to take a step foward she noticed a sign that clearly stated WELCOME TO PLANET ZAHOOLAGAN! Megan thought that this planet was pretty much a straight copy of planet Earth but soon enough she found out that it was not for the lack of gravity the Zahoolagans recived each day. There was nobody else on this planet apparently but she and Julius. Megan was grateful for the no gravity part of the planet because that is how she found Julius by flying around or shall I state it as floating around a bright shiny park bench. Of course then how could she of even found him without floating herself.
When Megan finally positioned herself beside him she filled him in on every little tiny importent detail that the wizard told her, and to that she explained the whole wizard part of it too.
"Whoa sissy!" Julius exclaimed sounding ridiculusly suprised. "All that!? I had no clue."
Megan said after a long period of silence between the two children. "I think that this planet Zahoolagan whatever that means is pretty akward and dear Julius please tell me that you agree.
"Yes I do agree Meggy." Julius answered. "I think it is queer how there are so beautiful scenes such as what we are gliding around now this beautiful park bench, but from what you told me there is no life on this planet besides us of course that could of made or built them.
Megan added to that "Do you think Julius and please be honest that people but very intellegent people could of lived here and created all this but of been blown out by the monsters not very long ago, since this appears to be very new?"
"Very possible." Julius replied.
Suddenly they heard a deep and obnoxious growl and as they whipped around starteled they saw what it was also. They both thought the same thing which was a very sarcastic "Oh great, our first monster sighting."
CHAPTER 5
As they approached the monster the growl became more obnoxious than it was at first. How I would describe it is that it was about twelve feet tall with red eyes that seemed to bulge out of the monster's head. The monster had thick fur that was so ugly they were speechless.
Megan pulled Juilus over to the side and managed to make out the words in a whisper voice, "As I told you, the wizard said that the monsters disliked very intelligent people so I think that the monsters must be very stupid themselves. This might be easier to fight than I thought it would."
"Yeh!" Julius agreed.
Suddenly Megan said "Julius what is the abreviation for Hydrogen in the periodic table of elements?"
Julius answered "H is for Hydrogen."
"Good "Megan said. "Now what is 45 divided by 9?"
"5" Julius said.
"Now Meggy dear what is 100+227?"
"Julius" Megan answered. "100+227=327!"
Suddenly they heard a terrifying screech, then poof! the monster exploded
"It worked!" Megan gasped.
"Wow!" Julius replied. "Now all we have to do is the same thing for all the other monsters that we meet."
"Correct!" Megan exclaimed. Then she added "Now all we have to do is get some food for I am very hungary there must be a supermarket somewhere around here don't you think Julius?"
Julius quckly answered a very enthusiastic "Definatly sis! I am sooo hungary!"
They floated around a street sign and plopped themselves luckily right in front of a little supermarket.
CHAPTER 6
Megan carefully opened the doors of the electric blue supermarket.
"Wow!" Julius said as they walked in to the shop. "They have a little bit of everything here don't they Megan, or they used to" he added realising the empty shelves in the light bulb section of the store.
"Yes" Megan replied "and lets go get some carrots, they should be in the back..."
They were interuppted by the same deep and obnoxious growl that they had heard from the first monster. Indeed it was one of the monsters.
Julius imediatlly jumped into the rutien by saying "Hey Megan what is the abbreviation for Hydrogen in the periodic table of elements?"
Megan replied by saying "H is for Hydrogen."
"Good!" Julius said. "Now what is 45 divided by 9?"
"5" Megan said.
They heard the same terifying screech and the sameexplosive poof! ans the monster was gone!
"Hooray!" Julius shouted exitedly. "This is getting easier every monster do you agree Megan?"
"Yes!" Megan answered.
The two children marched off in mid air of course towards the back of the store where the carrots were. They got carrots and didn't have to check out so after that they were floating out the door.
CHAPTER 7
"At last." Megan sighed. "Now we only have two more monsters to go."
"Right!" Julius said very exitedly because he was exited.
They walked well floated over to the same park bench then Julius said "Hey sis! You think we ought to go to the court house and get a rough estimate of how many Zahoolagans there are supposed to be, there shouldn't be to many!?"
Megan replied " That sounds pretty good to me Julius how about taking a trip to the bank for some spare change also, we don't have any unless you secretly carry some around with you in your pockets which today you have none."
"Megan." Julius said. "That is a brilliant idea, not that we would need any here but possibly if there is an emergency!"
"Then thats that." Megan answered "We'll go to the courthouse and on our way back here stop by the bank to get the spare change I was talking about."
The children went to the courthouse and found out that there was roughly 20 people that lived on planet Zahoolagan before they arrived and that also ment that there was plenty of money in the bank too. However when they got to the bank they met the third monster they had been waiting for. They heard the same obnoxious growl that got more obnoxious and Megan said "Julius what is 100+227?"
Julius answered "Megan 100+227=327."
There was that same terrifying screech and the monster exploded.
Megan and Julius collected about $10.00 from the bank and decided that it had to be enough for the two of them.
"$5.00 each." Megan commented.
Soon they were back to gliding around the park bench.
CHAPTER 8
Megan said to Julius "Do you think that we could have a race today Julius?"
"What?" Julius asked. "How could we have a normal race on a planet that does not have gravity on it?"
"Julius." Megan said. "I never said a normal race I'm talking about a floating race."
"Oh!" answered Julius. "I guess this is one of your very intellegent ideas Meggy."
"You are correct Julius!" Megan tried to sound like an anouncer on the 6:00 nightly news reporting about a car accident on interstate 270 when it was raining outside.
"Okay." Julius said "I give up when do we start!?"
"Right now!" Megan replied "1, 2, 3, go!"
They raced all the way to a big hicory tree about 40 ft. off the ground.
"Whew!" Julius gasped "I had no clue this would be so tough."
Megan added "I know, mabey we shouldn't try to race again."
Julius replied by saying "Sounds good to me."
Suddenly they heard a deep more obnoxious growl which they knew that it was the last monster that they had to blow up.
"Hey!" Julius said to the monster. "What's your name?"
There was the sound of the monster exploding.
Then the sound of two children shouting "Horray, horray no more monsters!"
After they settled down Megan said "Julius, it's getting dark lets leep in the shelter house over to the far right."
Julius answered "Fine! I'm tired."
So the children snuggled up in the corner and fell asleep.
CHAPTER 9
The sun shone brightly into the shelter house. Julius woke Megan up at about 7:30 a.m. in the Zahoolagan time which was about 9:30 a.m. where we live.
Megan woke up quickly ate some of the carrots they got with Julius then said "Hey Julius don't you think that we should rescue the Zahoolagans from where they are living now?"
"Saturn's rings sounds like where we should find them." Julius replied.
"Reasonable." Megan said. "Lets go there now."
Since they didn't travel too far to get as far as the shelter house it wasn't a long floating period to get back to the banner. Saturn was only about 200 ft. from the edge of planet Zahoolagan so a floating speed they didn't have to hold their breath long. When they finally arrived on the first of Saturns rings they found a jolly old man sitting down on the edge of it.
He said "I'm glad you came to rescue us the others are about 10 ft. away from here."
"Wow!" Megan exclaimed "This is great and I see the others too!"
Juliuis added another "Wow!" to that also.
When the other Zahoolagans noticed them Megan explained their situation and why they had come there.
The people nodded their heads and explained how Saturn was indeed a pretty plain yellowish gold planet with nothing to do on it that was enjoyable.
Julius pionted to planet Zahoolagan and guestured for them to follow him back.
"Just like it was when we left one of them mumbled, this is great." This great was not the sarcastic kind of them either.
"Well we must get going to our home planet." Megan said. Then she added "Sorry we have to leave this great place."
"Indeed." The old man that they had first met said. "What a shame."
After Megan and Julius had said their goodbyes and eccepted their thank yous they hand in hand floated off into space.
My Story
CHAPTER 1
Screeeeech! Susan Thompson heard the bus tires. It was Tursday morning, 9:15 a.m. to be exact, and she was anxious to get to school. It was the day of the elder's art fair and Susan's art teacher Miss Margret was going to present and discuss many famous paintings done by many famous artists. After boarding the bus Megan immediatly plopped herself down next to her best friend Polly in seat five.
"I am sooooo exited about today's elder's art fair aren't you Susan?!" Polly said.
"and I bet that Mrs. Kerr is going to make sure that the whole class is "On time" to the event also."
Mrs Kerr was Polly and Susan's rather strict teacher and the most paticular teacher in the fourth grade. Now that you know that Susan and Polly are both in the fourth grade, and the same class I might as well tell you that they are also both ten and an only child.
"Yes " susan answered. "I agree."
When they arrived at school Susan and Polly put away their things and walked to the gym where the art fair would start. They were very silent the whole way down the stairs.
After a long wait Miss Margret finnaly anonced "The first painting I will talk about is called Mona Lisa. It is painted by Leonardo da Vinci and..."
There was an EEEEEKKKK! of the PA system turning on. Sally's principal announced "due to the blizzard that is happening now school will be getting out in a half hour. I hope this doesn't alarm you, but you need to go to your home room immidiatly because the busses are trying to be earlyer than I suspected due to the traffic and the rush. Thank you."
Polly said "wow!"
Polly nad susan again sat beside each other in seat five on their way home and speechlessley walked into their home when they arrived there because of the dissipointing postponement of the great elder's art fair.
CHAPTER 2
"Oh my goodness honey!" Susan's mother exclaimed as Susan entered the house. Susan's mother usually didn't act like this so susan wondered what was going on.
Susan replied by saying "Hey Mom! Because of the snow the school got let out early, and the Elder's art fair was probably postponed too." Then she added "Why are you so suprised, you usually don't act like this."
Megan's Mother answered as she stuffed a letter she was writing into her home office desk "Oh nothing."
"okay" replied Susan still unsure about the whole deal.
As susan walked into her room with the purple flowerie wall paper she wondered "I wonder who lives on the Mansion across the street? I think I will want to check that out today."
Susan walked down the stairs and back to her mother's office.
"Mom" she asked "Will you let me go see the person that lives in the mansion across the street I wonder who lives there?"
"sure." her mom replied. "but you wouln't find any people there."
"How am I supposed to get in there if there is nobody to open the door for me?" susan asked he mother who was now looking as if she were in deep thought.
"well" Susan's mom answered "If I recall you just knock three times on the front door and say Thompson."
As susan walked out the front door and crossed the street she thought "I wonder why Mom knows so much about the mansion, but I might as well listen to her since she seems to be very confident about it."
Susan was now standing on the front porch of the beautiful mansion. There were two marble pillars on either side of her. she could barely make out the words "wow!" Because she did not see anything like this on in the mansion before.
Susan knocked three times in the door then she said "Thompson."
CHAPTER 3
Eeeeeek! The front door of the mansion opened.
"Oh this is amazing!" Susan gasped.
She was standing in a giant walkway on a beautiful marble checkered floor with beautiful paintings surrounding her. It seemed very akward to her that there was only one huge room in the whole mansion. Each painting's gold frame had a red ruby on it.
"since nobody seems to live here," Susan thought. "I don't think it would be a problem to touch it. I'm talking about the painting of Mona Lisa."
So that is what Susan did. She touched the beautiful ruby.
Suddenly there was a very loud screeeeech! Susan found herself in a what she assumed was an art studio, but a very old one. She also saw who she reconised to be Leonardo da Vinci. He was half done with the painting of Mona Liza.
"What on earth!" Megan said.
Leonardo was so startled that he acccedentally splatted paint on the picture and made Mona Lisa's eye orange.
"hello!" He said "and who are you?"
"uh uh I'm Susan." Susan stammered.
"how did you get here?" Leonardo asked ."And by the way you can call me Leo."
"I touched a ruby on your painting of Mona Lisa and found myself here." Susan replied.
Leo asked Susan "and where were you when touched this ruby?"
Susan replied by saying "Leo, why do you have to ask so many questions?"
"Because I want to know the answers, you didn't answer my question though."
"Okay" susan said "you win." "I went to the mansion across the street from my house to see what was in there. To get in I knocked three times then said Thompson. As soon as I saw the picture and touched the ruby on the frame I came here."
"Ahhhhhh." Leo replied "The magical work of Edward Thompson."
Susan said. "Edward Thompson, who is he?"
"Well susan." Leo said."I believe that Edward Thompson was your geat-great-great grandfather, and a famous inventor that along with his inventions he used a touch of magic too."
"Wow!" susan replied now more comfortable "you knew him?"
Leo said "Yep! he was my best friend, so much that I couldn't say no when he offered to preserve me in a painting of my own Mona Lisa."
"If he was your best friend, arn't you supposed to be dead?" Susan questioned.
"did you here the preserve part of what I told you? anyways you cant exactly die when you're in a painting." Leo answered

ABOUT THE PALEO INDIANS
The Paleo Indians arrived in Ohio in about 13,000 BC. Paleo Indians got their name from the word paleo that means "old" in greek. Paleo Indians are also called The First Ohioans. Their tools included scrapers and projectile pionts that were made my a method they used called flaking. The Paleo Indian's tools were called stone tools because they were mostly made of stone.
PALEO INDIAN CULTURE
The Paleo Indian's culture was called the Clovis Culture or the Llano culture. Projectile points are also called Clovis points because of the history and culture. The Clovis culture officially started in 11,500 RCYBP (radiocarbon years before present) at the end of the last glacial period. All Paleo Indians were part of the Clovis Culture because it was their tradition.
PALEO INDIAN HOMES
The Paleo Indians did not have permenant homes since they traveled so much for their food. The very temporary homes that they did have were mostly pits that were probably originally storage areas. This made them east to locate.
THE PALEO INDIAN'S DAILY LIFE
People don't know much about Paleo Indian's daily life but they do know that they usually worked by the rivers andfollowed the animals to determine where they lived. they worked very hard so there was very little time for play at the village. Very few sites or proof of where the paleo indians lived has been found so far.
WHERE THE PALEO INDIANS LIVED
The Paleo Indians lived wherever the greater population of animals were or wherever the most food was avalible. This forced them to live in many places. According to us they lived "way out there" which is also known as the forest.
THE FOOD THE PALEO INDIANS ATE
The Paleo Indians ate dried foods in the winter. They also ate seasonly avalible food such as fruits, seeds, and nuts. They fished and hunted Mastadon, White tailed deer, and other small animals too.
WHEN THE PALEO INDIANS LEFT OHIO
The Paleo Indians left ohio somewhere around 7,900 BC and 8,000 BC. This was also when the last glacier passed through Ohio. However there is a debate of the actual year they left.
